We have covered the history of the Negroni in previous posts, like our Breakfast Negroni, our Negroni twist in this Cynar Negroni, or a Strawberry Negroni! The Strawberry Negroni is the closest recipe to this Cranberry Negroni, as we infused this time around too!

Cranberry Infused Liquor

So, we infused both the Campari and the gin with cranberries, and let them sit for 48 hours until the color and flavor were good! Then, we checked it about 24 hours in and felt it wasn’t enough – but make sure to check it yourself so it is to your liking.

We combined about two tablespoons of cranberries to four ounces of Campari and gin each and that seemed to be the right amount. We left the sweet vermouth alone on this recipe.

Adding Tartness to the Cocktail

The cranberries did lend a bit of a tart flavor to the cocktail, almost like adding a bit of apple cider vinegar to the Negroni. Gives a great holiday vibe to this, we think!

I don’t know about you, but I hate having to be the mixologist on a holiday. I mean, I don’t hate it, but when everyone seems to need a drink or a refill all at once, I can’t enjoy the party! This one is easy, as it is just the 3 ingredients that you have already prepped, and all you have to do is measure.
