You can put pine simple syrup to good use in this tasty holiday sip, and it’s the perfect option for those not imbibing or drinking this holiday season, and offer cocktails for those that are! Make a great Christmas cocktail with our cranberry Ornament Cocktail!

Cranberry Mocktail

This cranberry mocktail recipe is delicious. Tart yet sweet cranberry juice and pine is a perfect pairing, like we made in our cocktails above. These are two bold ingredients and they play well together with the ginger beer in this non alcoholic cocktail.

We recommend unsweetened cranberry juice because there is pine simple syrup in this recipe, and sweet cranberry juice will make it too sweet. The pine flavor makes this mocktail all the more interesting. And lastly, the ginger beer is there for a delightful fizz and bite of ginger.

Non Alcoholic Cocktails

Mocktails are a drink that don’t contain alcohol. They are a fun and tasty drink you can enjoy anytime. Also known as Non Alcoholic Cocktails, no matter what you call them, they are fun and flavorful drinks that give options just like cocktails do.

Feel free to garnish with pine sprigs, rosemary sprigs or sugared cranberries, it’s a great Christmas cocktail! We just added a rosemary sprigs and cranberries to keep it simple, but extra fancy garnishes on Christmas cocktails are encouraged! Make sure to check out our Sugared Cranberries post for more info on those!

This Christmas cocktail is sure to please everyone at your holiday parties and dinners, and like we said, there is always the option to make it boozy, or use these ingredients to make other cocktails.

How to Make this Cranberry Mocktail

The first step to making this Christmas mocktail is to make your pine simple syrup. It does take few hours to cool down, so plan on making the syrup ahead of time.

Once your simple syrup is made, make sure you have your cranberry juice and ginger beer or ginger ale.

Add syrup and juice to a shaker with ice, shake and strain into tall glass with ice, and top with ginger beer. This is the sparkling part of this non alcoholic cocktail, and adds Christmas cheer to your drink. Or, try our Cranberry Aperol Spritz!

If you want to make this boozy, we encourage gin, as the juniper flavors of a London Dry Gin would be perfect with the flavors of this cocktail.

Cheers!
