A blueberry mint mocktail is a great flavor choice for a refreshing sip. This non alcoholic mojito is a great alcohol free cocktail and uses berry kombucha as the mixer.

This non alcoholic mojito a refreshing alternative to our normal boozy cocktails. The lime and mint lend some great flavors and pair nicely with the sweet and tart blueberries. So, now you can celebrate the night away with a fancy drink, but with no alcohol! If you want alcohol try our Cherry Mojito!

While we know this year may not bring big fancy cocktail hours, get togethers or large gatherings with friends and family, that doesn’t mean you can’t treat yourself to parties at home with cocktails, or in this case a non alcoholic cocktail, on Zoom. Are we over those yet? We aren’t!

So, this alternative non alcoholic cocktail is perfect for anyone looking to avoid alcohol (maybe for Dry January) or just wanting a beverage without feeling the booze.

And, this non alcoholic mojito also comes with the side benefit of being a bit healthy and having antioxidants. We think it’s even more reason to raise a glass of this Sparkling Non Alcoholic Blueberry Mojito with Berry Kombucha Cocktail this year!

What is kombucha?

Kombucha is a fermented tea is seen as a probiotic and good for bellies.

It’s made with tea (can be caffeinated or herbal), brewed in filtered water with sugar. That mixture is then fermented with a scoby (a bacterial and yeast mass) for a week or so.

The results are a probiotic rich, slightly fizzy drink. You can drink it on its own, or enjoy it in this non alcoholic cocktail!

The process for kombucha does result in a tiny bit of alcohol, but it’s very minimal and like a non alcoholic beer.

Non Alcoholic Cocktails

With this beautiful glass of berry kombucha in hand, you can look cooler than ever. Non alcoholic cocktails can be as good as regular cocktails, so don’t think they can’t. Add a garnish, add a straw, make it as good as one you are served at a bar! Make it fancy AF.

In this one, we muddle the blueberry and fresh mint together, and then fill the glasses with crushed ice. Add a bit of lime, and top with the Berry Kombucha for a great and fizzy non alcoholic cocktail! Garnish with a sprig of mint, blueberries on a pick, or a lime slice for extra flavor and fanciness!

Plus, if you aren’t participating in Dry January, or are wanting to drink while others don’t, you can add a shot of spirit. We recommend vodka or a London Dry Gin for this one!

Can I substitute something for kombucha in this drink?

If you’re not a fan of kombucha or don’t have any, may we suggest:

  • Ginger Beer – So, ginger beer is a non alcoholic brew (there are some that are boozy, tho!) made with ginger, sugar, and carbonated water. It has a sharper more gingery flavor than ginger ale. It’s usually with the mixers in the liquor section of your store.
  • Ginger Ale – Find one you like, it won’t be as “gingery” as the ginger beer, so if you aren’t a huge ginger beer fan, this is a great choice.
  • Club Soda – There will be some less flavor in the drink if you use club soda, just because it doesn’t have much flavor in general. But, a good choice to make it fizzy, and you can add a dash more lime to help make it more flavorful.
