This Bourbon Maple Eggnog is the perfect winter flavored cocktail. Add a little maple into your classic whiskey eggnog!
Eggnog is a surprisingly polarizing drink. According to a poll I did on Instagram though, most of you like it, so here we go with some eggnog recipes! I have to admit, it’s surprising to me, because of how much I love it. It is creamy, sweet, and lightly spiced! Try our Maple Mocktail, too!

We think eggnog is a perfect holiday drink to celebrate with family and friends. This year, we think you should add another holiday flavor, maple, to your whiskey eggnog!
It’s getting closer to Christmas! Less than a week away, but isn’t this just the best time of the year? I feel in a rush because there is so much to do. Although I do have to say the most stressful thing for me is gifts. You?
I squeak in under the wire, barely with getting all the presents bought. Sometimes I need a tipple when I am feeling super stressed this time of year!
I love a good glass of eggnog when wrapping presents, as well as just to feel in the holiday spirit during this crazy time! When drinking eggnog I try so hard to make it last, sipping slowly like a glass of wine. But, it never really works, it goes down far too easy.
What Ingredients are Needed for the Whiskey Eggnog?
- Eggnog
- Bourbon
- Maple Syrup
- Tiki Bitters
- Nutmeg
This is a twist on the classic eggnog with maple syrup instead of sugar. There are a lot of variations on eggnog so if you would like to customize, it’s super easy. This whiskey eggnog with maple is one of those great variations!
This bourbon eggnog does have a subtle maple flavor, but it’s quite nice! Perfect winter flavor for sure. I mean really, has maple syrup ever messed up anything?
Cheers!
