The Effervescent Redhead

Last Updated on June 10, 2019 by The ‘Noms.

We received a number of great bottles for Christmas, so of course just like our kids, we were really excited to play with our new toys.  One of the bottles we received was Ginger Liqueur, which has a nice spicy and sweet bite with a great ginger aroma that would be perfect in a nice clean martini. The combination of the bubbly Moscato D’Asti and the spicy warm ginger with just a hint of citrus is reflective of the personality of those famous gingers (aka redheads!)

I haven't heard of ginger liqueur before I am going to have to look for it in the stores next time. I am loving Cut Spike vodka too. Typically not a hard liquor drinker but with holiday parties and such we went through a bottle really quickly!

The ginger liqueur is really good just with the moscato d'asti as well! Gives a great bite! We got this from Spirit World. Cut Spike is great!

We always say that drinks like this help get rid of our coughs! After all gin was used as a medicine back in the day...

Hope you get a chance to try it out. It was really delicious, especially with the blackberries being so good right now!
