‘Tis the season for holiday pop up bars! Two locations in Omaha have temporarily transformed their space into winter wonderlands. Expect allllll the decorations, seasonal cocktails and Instagram worthy holiday inspiration. And don’t wait too long, these seasonal events disappear soon after Christmas. Celebrate the season at these festive pop up bars and experiences in Omaha and around the country!

Mercury Omaha
Mercury is one of our favorite bars in Omaha, Nebraska! They always have great and fun cocktails throughout the year, they are super creative and make themed cocktails a favorite for us to visit!
Their Christmas Pop Up Bar cocktails are beyond excellent, and the theme is Don’t Stop Believing! Great holiday drinks with fun names like Mama Said Nog You Out (rum, black walnut, cream, almond and eggnog), and Sugar Plum Fairy (Sugar plum infused gin, vanilla, allspice, lemon, meringue cookie).
They also have zero proof cocktails like the Sweet Potato Casserole (yams, toasted marshmallow, dates, cream and egg white). Great choices for everyone! Mercury’s hours are everyday from 4 pm-midnight. Kitchen is open until last call. 329 S 16th Street
Holiday Hut at the Cottonwood Hotel
Ring in the holiday season with craft cocktails and spirited cheer at the Holiday Hut! November 27-January 1, 2026 their hours are Thursdays and Sunday 5-10 pm, Fridays and Saturdays 5-11. This Christmas themed pop up is located in the Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel’s pool house! 302 S 36th Street, in the Blackstone district.
No reservations needed, but make sure to come and enjoy the spirit of the decor and cocktails! When we went it did fill up fast, almost as soon as they opened, so plan for that! You have to enter through the hotel, and then through the pool deck to the pool house.
Secret Park Omaha
Secret Park will be serving up holiday cocktails at Christmas in the Park: A Nostalgic Christmas. Festive cocktails, cozy vibes and holiday magic all December long, starting November 26. Their hours are 4-11 pm Tuesday-Thursday, Friday & Saturday 3 pm-1 am, and Sunday noon-6 pm. 3207 Leavenworth Street.
Under the Mistletoe Pop Up
This pop up is at Max & Joes, a Belgian beer bar at Crescent Moon Alehouse, 3578 Farnam Street. They are festive and a great holiday hangout with Under the Mistletoe. They will offer a holiday cocktail menu, festive decorations, and a full kitchen menu. Pop-up hours will be Thursday-Saturday November 28-December 20. Hours are November 28/29, December 4/5/12/13/18/19/20 at 5 pm, December 6 at 5:30 and December 11 at 6:30. They will be serving hot cider, hot coco, gluhwein and holiday vibes!
Frosty’s Pop Up
Social Bar on 192nd is having an event called Frosty’s Christmas Pop-up Bar. 1009 S 192nd St, Elkhorn, and their hours are 3 pm-midnight Monday-Wednesday, Thursday 3 pm-2 am, Friday 2 pm-2 am, Saturday Noon- 2 am and Sunday noon-midnight.
Trap Room
The Trap Room is all decked out in Christmas decor for you to check out. They have some great offerings to sip like mulled wine and Coquito! 733 N 14th Street, Monday-Friday 4 pm- 2 am, Saturday noon- 2 am and Sunday noon-midnight.
Blackstone Social
Blackstone Social is having the Grinch’s Lair this year. Located at 3910 Farnam Street and with a Grinch theme, this is a fun one! Hours are 4 pm – 2 am Monday-Thursday and 2 pm -2 am Friday, and noon- 2 am Saturday and Sunday.

Meadowlark Lounge has decorated for the holiday season! Come have some seasonal drinks and enjoy your surroundings! 3302 Leavenworth Street, hours are Monday thru Thursday 4 pm – 2 am, Friday 2 pm – 2 am, Saturday noon – 2 am, and Sunday 12-6.
Proof Whiskey Bar and Proof 192 Whiskey Bar
All decorated in holiday cheer, both Proof bars are featuring holiday craft cocktails and fun sips for December! Proof Whiskey Bar is located in Midtown at 200 S. 31st Ave #4102. Hours are Monday to Thursday 3 pm to midnight, Friday and Saturday 3 pm – 2 am, and Sunday 3-9 pm. Proof 192 is located in Elkhorn at 18940 Evans Plaza #107. Hours are the same at both locations.
Voodoo Bar
Voodoo bar is having a Buddy’s Elf’d Up Pop-up for Christmas! New holiday drink menu and theme. 304 N 168th Circle, Ste 210. Monday thru Thursday is 4 pm – 2 am, Friday 3 pm – 2 am, Saturday 6 pm – 2 am and Sunday 6 pm – 2 am.
