We have compiled a great list of locally owned Omaha stores that we can buy from so that we buy local, and keep the money in Omaha.
We definitely don’t want to lose our local shops that we love to buy from, and this is an effort to buy local! We encourage you to buy either gift cards, or place an order online at some of these great local Omaha stores for some great products and things you may need while you are at home!
This post contains affiliate links for products that we think you as readers might find useful, and we make commission off of these! For more details about our affiliates, click our Disclosure and Contacts Page.
You can enjoy that gift certificate at a later date, when we are all able to return to normal! We have a great compiled list of local area Omaha restaurants for takeout and delivery, so make sure to check that out too!
Please let me know if there is any store to add to this list, and I will do so! Keep it local friends, and help out our fellow community members!

It can be overwhelming and challenging to find exclusive, natural, and sustainable pieces perfect for your home. With our handpicked pieces from coast to coast, you can choose high-quality,
customized furnishings that reflect you and your lifestyle. We feature high-end, smaller furniture designers that bring luxury and craftsmanship into your home.
Our design aesthetic brings in raw materials, like wood, natural fibers, and stone. We describe it as an organic, eclectic, lived-in vibe that exudes warmth. Our shop is ever-evolving, and our interior design services include new construction design consulting, personal rug shopping, remodels, furniture sourcing, and styling.

We're feeling the pain as all of our favorite restaurants & bars in the community are slowly forced to cease operations in order to effectively squash out the the spread of COViD-19. If you know of any elderly or sick in the neighborhood that can't leave the house & might need soap delivered, we'll swing by and drop some off free of charge. Everyone else, KEEP WASHIN'! I wish there's more we could do. Stay healthy, stay clean, and we'll get this city back on track in no time.

In light of the global pandemic, we are electing to close our stores for two weeks. As a non-essential business, we want to do our part to limit the spread of COVID-19 to protect our healthcare system and to protect those with compromised immune systems. We will continue to pay our employees as they were scheduled during these two weeks. Should you wish to support the shop during this time, we encourage you to shop online or purchase a gift card for future in-store use. We will be fulfilling online orders in a timely manner and with utmost sanitary care.
All online orders will receive FREE shipping (Code: freeshipping) . All gift cards for future in-store use will be 15% off (Code: 15giftcard) . We truly appreciate your support and understanding during this time.

To us, living well is a state of mind; it’s living with passion, purpose, and joy to elevate everyday experiences. It’s creating a feeling of home, wherever you may find yourself. It's soulful, sustainable products that are safe to use.
I just want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for those of you who have ordered online (always, really but especially) in the past week. Your business during this time of gloabal uncertainty means the world to me and is quite literally supporting my family (and sanity tbh). As you would expect, the upcoming markets + events that fuel my (and many other small, handmade) business have all been cancelled. Since Thursday of last week, I went from having a schedule of income to having a gaping hole of question marks for potentially 8 weeks or more. To say this is a drastic hit to my business is an understatement. And it's happening simultaneously to many, many across the economy. These health measures are so very necessary, but also incredibly overwhelming, on many levels, for many of us.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am so grateful for your support of my business online! Luckily, I am able to work in my studio and continue to fulfill orders - hand soap! hand sanitizer! room spray! candles! all the things! - during social distancing and I am happily making products. I am working to get my Omaha studio finished
and open by appointment for individual pours, should you need to get out of the house but not encounter groups of people. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you are able, please consider sharing the posts and websites for any small, handmade businesses you support online, as it is quite literally our lifeline right now. Can't wait to get back to markets + events and see you all!

Since October of 2018, Made in Omaha has opened its doors to artists and makers throughout Omaha and the surrounding area, creating a new platform to reach customers. Made in Omaha provides the benefits of scale to small companies that don't inherently have those benefits. By working together, we can reach more customers and have a greater impact on both the arts community in Omaha and Omaha as a whole. We aim to be everyone's "storefront," both in person and online. We work to connect artists and makers so that we can grow our community throughrelationships and collaborations.

Our focus is on curating simple, well made, durable goods for men. Our concept is a bit different from traditional men's stores, where clothing is the focus and the rest of the goods, accessories and such are secondary. Instead, our focus is on the "other" pieces a man desires to complete himself and display his distinct brand. These include personal care items, accessories, lifestyle goods, and other unique items a distinguished man seeks. We also carry a small selection of classic, timeless clothing from up and coming designers/makers.
For those that choose to stay home, we’d love to remind you that we have our website for online shopping. We’ve reduced our shipping costs and even have a local pickup option if you use promo code “localship”. We’re even willing to hand deliver orders in the Omaha metro if you drop us a note and let us know. Of course we’re making sure that we’re taking appropriate measures when handling those orders as well.
Business has already slowed, and we’ve begun to adjust. We will be closed on Sundays going forward and will monitor trends and see if we need to make further considerations.
We value our customers and know that many of you are very supportive of other local establishments too. We hope you continue to do so through these unprecedented days and weeks ahead.
