What to Do With Green Apple Smirnoff Ice?

We have some family members that like sour flavors and anything green apple, so we were excited to try playing with this fun flavor from Smirnoff Ice. When Smirnoff Ice contacted us to make two cocktails and two food items with their products, we came up with these recipes, the Holiday Berry Sparkler, Citrus Asian Chicken Wings and Mini Berry Bites, we knew we would have some fun making them! After all, experimenting in the kitchen and behind the bar is one of our favorite things to do!

We knew we wanted a fun cocktail that would definitely use the green color of the Green Apple Smirnoff Ice, so we played around with a lot of combinations and ingredients. Green Apple was a bit of a challenge, as it is a very distinctive sour note required some careful blending!  We even tried rainbow sherbet and the Smirnoff Ice Green Apple, as a float (Which by the way, is really good, too, just saying!)

Caramel Green Apple

We knew we had a winner though when we combined Smirnoff Kissed Caramel Vodka with the Smirnoff Ice Green Apple and the fall and winter flavors just jumped out and almost hollered “holiday drink!”

What to do for other Flavors

This Caramel Green Apple Cocktail is a nice fall and winter drink, with warming spices and sweet caramel setting a nice sweet festive base. The caramel vodka and ginger simple syrup balance out the tartness of the Smirnoff Ice Green Apple, and right away we knew we had a liquid version of a caramel covered green apple! The green apple, caramel and ginger play well off of each other, making that perfect combination of sweet and tart.

What Ingredients are Needed for the Caramel Green Apple Cocktail?

  • Green Apple Smirnoff Ice
  • Ginger Simple Syrup
  • Caramel Vodka

We always promote responsible drinking, so with this cocktail being mostly all alcohol and being fairly sweet, you might limit yourself to just one as it might sneak up on you! Try another super fun green drink from a Nerd Cooks, the Incredible Hulk!

THis festive holiday cocktail features Smirnoff Ice Green Apple, Smirnoff Caramel Vodka and ginger liqueur to make a sweet and sour sipping cocktail.
