Cool evenings are a perfect reason to enjoy a a warm cocktail. This one is based on the recipe by Charles Corpion of the Four Seasons. The Blizzard Cocktail is based on the classic coffee and Bailey’s Irish Cream, but adding some hazelnut and whiskey to add a bit of a deep flavor and a nice kick to make a nice nightcap.
- 1 1/2 ounces Irish whiskey
- 2 oz half and half
- 1/2 ounce Irish cream liqueur, such as Bailey’s
- Hot hazelnut roast coffee
- Whipped cream
- Cinnamon to garnish
Pour the whiskey, half and half and irish cream into a mug. Stir. Add hot coffee. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle cinnamon on top to garnish.
