With the holidays approaching, its time to start hunting out gifts for the cocktail enthusiast in your life, so we put our heads together and came up with some things that we think the cocktail lover in your life might enjoy. Some of these are basics, while some will help you take your cocktail game to the next level (heck some of these would be great hints for us if you are feeling generous!) This post contains affiliate links for products that we think you as readers might find useful, plus it might actually let us buy some more booze to make our bar even better while allowing us to keep bringing cool content to you! A couple of these items selected are perfect for setting up your own home bar like the Owl Mule Mugs, the Mustache pints, a good shaker and the Bartender’s Roll Up Kit. The glassware is perfect for mixing up your own recipes or some of our great cocktails! A good set of bartender’s tools can make mixing up drinks easier and take your presentation to the next level.

RosemarysPear-6

The Rosemary’s Pear is perfect for Christmas!

We chose a make your own bitter’s kit so you can experience making your own bitters. Bitters are wonderful for adding flavors and dimension to a drink, and having the ability to make your own bitters and customize the flavors you like can be a great experience. We had a chance to make our own bitters, and use them all the time, so for a cocktail enthusiast, this kit is a home run!

We also put on item that is on our personal wish list on this cocktail gift guide, the smoking cabinet and gun. We love the multiple sensory experience that smoke can add to a cocktail or food, so this is on our short list of gadgets to get!

HolidayHoneyPunch-6

The Holiday Honey Punch

We love reading books about cocktails, spirits and bar techniques, so when Jeffery Morganthaler came out with his The Bar Book we ran out and got a copy as soon as it came out. Combining techniques from a master bar tender with some of his recipes, The Bar Book is a must read for any bartender (pro or home!)

No cocktail is complete with out the right kind of ice, so a manual ice crusher not only will look great on your bar, but can also crush the ice right to your spec so you can get your cocktail perfectly cool. We also picked out a carry on cocktail kit, so that no matter where you travel to, you can help make your travels go a bit smoothly with just the right drink!
